Bake Like a Princess Cookie & Cupcake Party – Ages 7 -11
Kids will have a blast at this cookie/cupcake party event. Students will be given crowns and princess aprons as they decorate princess theme sugar cookies using royal icing and fondant. You will learn how to cut out sugar cookies using metal cookie cutters, bake them for best results and finally decorate. Students will take their crowns, aprons and completed cookies/cupcakes home.
$45.00 fee includes cost for supplies. This is a two hour class, Saturday, June 5, 2010, 12:00 am to 2:00 pm

Fundamentals of Rolled Fondant
Have you ever wondered how those beautiful fondant covered cakes are created? Students will learn how to color fondant, cover a cake board and cover a real 8” cake. You will learn how to make decorations, such as bows, flowers and leaves using gumpaste and fondant. Students will be able to take their finished projects home.
Skill level is beginner to advance, however, students should have some basic decorating skills. The cost for this class is $69.99. All supplies needed for the project are included with the fee. Refreshments will be served. Students will be given discount for future supplies purchased from Taylor Mack Design Center. This is a one day class, Sunday, June 6, 2010 2:30 – 5:30 pm

Creative Cookie Bouquets
Learn how to make beautiful cookie bouquets to enjoy or to give as a gift. Students will learn how to decorate sugar cookies like the professionals using royal icing and fondant. You can arrange your cookies in a basket or wrap individually with ribbon. All supplies are included with fee and students will be taking their projects home.
Skill level is beginner to advance, with some basic decorating skills. This is a one day class, Sunday, June 13, 2010 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. The cost is $59.99

Bake like a Pirate Party – Ages 7-11
Kids will learn how to bake and decorate pirate them cookies and cupcakes using buttercream, royal icing and fondant. Students will be taught how to cut out sugar cookies, make cupcakes, bake and decorate. Each student will take home their finished projects along with their pirate, aprons and party favors.$45.00 fee includes cost for supplies. This is a two hour class, Saturday,
Vacation Baking School – Kids Ages 7-12 – $45.00
Three Week Class – Monday June 7th, June 14th, and June 21st

June 7th
Kids will learn the basics of baking cakes, from how to make a basic cake recipe from scratch, how to fill a cake pan and how to properly and safely bake a cake. Each kid will learn how decorate their own cake and icing techniques. All finished projects will be taken home. Supplies are included with the price.
June 14th
Kids will learn the basics of making and decorating sugar cookies. All aspect of sugar cookies will be learned, from cutting out the sugar dough to final presentation. Students will be able to select from several designs. All projects will be taken home.
June 21st
Baking and decorating cupcakes. Students will learn how to fill cupcake pans with batter, bake and decorate cupcakes. Students will be able to select from a variety of designs for their final projects. All cupcakes will be taken home to share with family and friends. At the completion of this course, students will be given a certificate.

Have your party at Taylor Mack Fine Cakes: Taylor Mack Fine Cakes is proud to announce hosted theme parties. Each party is totally hosted by our staff. Parents of the guest of honor should be present for taking pictures, etc., however they don’t need to stay for the duration of the party.
Other invited guest – Parents of the invited guest should not bring or leave younger disruptive kids
What to wear – invited guest should wear comfortable clothes or theme oriented attire.
Parties are completely hosted by our creative staff. Parties typically are 1 ½ to 2 hours at length. Prices range from $175.00 – $200.00 for up to 10 people. Each additional person is $15.00. A $50.00 deposit is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations: If the date of the party changes prior to 48 hours before the event, deposits can be transferred to another date. Parties cancelled less than 48 hours will not be able to transfer to another date and deposit will not be reimbursed.

The following theme parties are available:
1. Diva – Guest will be treated like diva, fluted glasses with sparkling punch, and finger sandwiches. Each guest will be given a 6” cake to decorate. The guest will be divided into groups for a cake decoration competition. All kids are winners and will be given a prize.
2. Bake Like a Princess-tiaras and wands. Guest will decorate cookies and cupcakes in princess style themes. Projects can take home to share with family and friends. There will also be a friendly cake competition with all guest receiving a prize.
3. Bake Like a Pirate Party – guest will decorate pirate them goodies to take home or eat at the party. There will be a pirate “walk the cake plank” contest with all guest receiving prize.
Bake Like a Chef Party – all guest will dress like professional chefs, with hats and aprons. Only the guest of honor will be able to take home their personalize aprons and hats. Guest will decorate 6” cakes with decorations of their choice. There will be a cake decorating competition with all guest receiving decorating goody bags to take home.
